STOP SOPA & PROTECT IP CENSORSHIP

On January 24 2012, the U.S. senate and house will vote to pass a series of internet censorship bills (Stop Internet Piracy Act & Protect IP Act). This allows the U.S. government to block websites from their own citizens, under the guise of reducing "pirated" or shared content. It's called internet blacklisting and it's similar to internet censorship currently imposed by China, Iran and Syria and is no doubt a violation of free-speech and free-thought.

This will not only affect the internet and privacy of internet users but community websites like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and Reddit can also be censored, which are a main source of free-speech and revolution in oppressed countries like China, Iran and Egypt.
